About Me

Holly Hoffman, PsyD, Clinical Psychologist, PSY 31551

Hello and welcome. I have always been passionate about the mind-body connection which is why I love working from a health psychology focused lens. I am a firm believer that you do not need to be in therapy forever. I recognize that people come to therapy at different points in their lives when they are struggling and feel a desire to make a change. My goal is to empower you to become your own therapist so that you will be able to cope with what life throws your way long after the therapy has concluded. Together we will help you make changes in your thinking, behaviors, and emotions. We will get to the bottom of your concerns quick and target the core processes that are driving your pain. As you notice your emotional distress decrease you will see direct improvements in your physical health such as decreases in blood pressure or physical pain.

A little about me. After growing up in Huntington Beach and graduating from Edison High School, I moved up to Northern California. While completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology at San Francisco State University, I fell in love with the diversity and culture of the Bay Area. I also participated in a variety of social justice activities. While pursuing my PsyD in Clinical psychology at the Wright Institute, I worked in a wide range of clinical settings including high school and college counseling centers, hospitals, and community mental health clinics. I developed specialties in health psychology, eating disorders, chronic pain/illness, dating/relationships, and social phobias.

I recognize that reaching out to a total stranger is hard. Still—I invite you to reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation. We will explore your goals for therapy and get you on your way to living more in line with your core values. I look forward to meeting you soon!
